Nalani was born and raised on the beautiful island of Kaua’i and started dancing hula at age seven. She began her hula training with the late Kumu Hula Ku’ulei Punua and Joseph Kahaulelio. At that very young age, she started performing professionally at hotels and special events.
After graduating from high school, Nalani relocated to Oahu and continued performing as a professional Polynesian and solo hula dancer at the most prestigious hotels in Waikiki and throughout the island.
She travels regularly to Japan to perform in shows and do workshops.
In 1995, Nalani began teaching hula in Waikiki and throughout Oahu. She also teaches ukulele.
Nalani’s passion is singing and dancing hula. She feels privileged to be able to inspire and teach all those who have a love for Hula, Hawaiian music and Hawaiian culture.
